Update

So life continues to be busy, and I’m trying to keep up, but it’s been somewhat hard to concentrate. You see, this weekend my sister went into the hospital. She’s expecting her first child – due in mid-April – and there’s some suspicion of preeclampsia, so they’re keeping her there until she delivers. That could be any day, or it could be weeks from now, depending on how things go. I know she’s being well taken care of, but please send some good thoughts her way if you get a chance. (Or better yet, comments on her blog with fun things to do while on bedrest!) It’s hard to be so far away right now – there’s only so much I can do for her from a couple states away. We were supposed to see her this coming weekend at her out-of-state baby shower, but that’s no longer going to happen.

In other news, I’m going to be an extra during filming of Betty Anne Waters tomorrow. It’s a movie about a single mother who goes to law school to clear her brother’s name of a murder he didn’t commit, and they’re shooting it here. Some e-mails went around asking for extras, so I submitted a photo and I’m to report early tomorrow morning. Should be exciting. No cameras are allowed though, sorry.
