Just so you all know – I made it back safely (and even on time – gasp)! Long day of sitting on planes and in airports though. Oof. Lots to do in the next while, but for now, I think it’s bed time.

Mmmmmm, beautiful.
It really was beautiful there. I had a hard time imagining all the battles that were fought there – cannons were pointed at gorgeous water, palm trees, etc. It seemed out of place. Then again, I can understand why everyone wanted it too.
