In an attempt to kick me in the butt and get me blogging again, my sister has tagged me a “things about you” meme. So, without further ado, here are 7 things you may or may not have known about me.

- The movie “Meet the Applegates” was filmed in my hometown, so our whole family got to be extras. I was around 6 at the time it was filmed, and I had glasses already. Apparently they thought that was cute, and I got a couple of closeups. I’ve also never seen the whole movie. Too bad it’s not out on DVD.
- I got married at the age of 20. (Logan was 19.) A lot of people are surprised that Logan and I got married so young, but it’s worked for us.
- I recently got new glasses. Having had them since I was 2 1/2, and since I’m going to have them for the foreseeable future, I’ve embraced them for now. I decided not to hide my glasses this time ’round but to get something a little more noticable. Never thought I’d go back to plastic frames, but here I am. Do you like them?

Also, I got my first set of prescription sunglasses. Exciting! - I’m currently working on my Ph.D. in physics, but I didn’t really know what physics was until I took the class my senior year of high school. I didn’t want to take it, either. I’d always loved the sciences and math, but my only conception of physics was how hard it was. Thankfully, our school had a wonderful teacher, and my parents “encouraged” me to take the class. I was hooked ever since.
- I go through fads in terms of crafts and hobbies. From knitting, to embroidery, to various on-line games, to bookbinding, etc. etc. I usually return to them after some time has passed, but I often end up with bits of unfinished projects and supplies. I think it took me over 4 years to finish knitting a blanket.
- I’m clutzy. I’ve sprained each of my ankles a number of times – doing everything from walking, jumping, getting out of my loft in my dorm room, to cross-country skiing. The last time I sprained my ankle I went to physical therapy to regain some better balance. I haven’t sprained my ankle since, but I wouldn’t rule out the possibility!
- This one’s a cop-out fact. But I don’t like tagging people for memes, so I’m not going to do that. To anyone reading this: you’re welcome to continue this if you’d like, but no obligations!

I’m a fan of the glasses and the blogging! Miss you!
Glad you like the glasses! I’m gonna work on the blogging. I miss you too!
This is Chris, but I didn’t feel like changing the inputs.
You should have gotten Palin specs.
