FFA Creativity: Taxing
I’ve been trying to bike a lot lately, which is good for me. Unfortunately, you could say I’m not quite in top biking shape, and any incline or hill is just painful. I went for one of my first “long” bike rides to hunt for historical markers this weekend, and this hill was right near the beginning of my ride. It may not look like much, but it was quite taxing to me. The thing that makes this worse is that stop sign for the railroad tracks, right at the bottom of the hill.

Yay! I missed this…I’m just getting used to the new layout of WP2.5 and it doesn’t highlight all new comments on the dashboard, unless I’m blind (just ones that need moderating, which yours don’t.)
Wow, that’s quite a hill! I’m thinking that I’d also like to get a bicycle…maybe one of those folding ones. Faster than feet and a good free way of getting around and some exercise too.
You didn’t miss it for long - I just put it up last night. They have folding bicycles? Crazy. I clearly haven’t been in the market for some time; I got my bike in high school - heck - maybe even middle school!
For giggles I went to the Gmaps pedometer site, and looked at this street to find out the elevation. I think it’s about 70ft.
